Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Fruits of Hope Adventure Tours representative and assisted with a domestic flight to either Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, depending on the sector of Bwindi you will be visiting. The scenic flight offers aerial views of Lake Victoria, lush tea plantations and the rolling highlands of southwestern Uganda. Upon landing, a luxury 4×4 vehicle will transfer you to your lodge nestled on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The trek may last from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you are assigned to. Once you locate them, you will spend one magical hour in their presence, observing their social interactions and taking in the quiet majesty of these gentle giants.
